Hi folks,
Today we got into a bit of the nitty gritty when it comes to classification. We spent some time familiarizing ourselves with different phyla, classes and orders and seeing what kinds of characteristics go into the organization of those classifications.
For homework this week I'd like you to take a look at the following websites. You may need to cut and paste them into your browser to make them work.
The first two are simulations and will allow you to put various objects and creatures into their appropriate classifications. Please go through all the steps set out in the simulation. Turn in the "journal questions" as homework.
The last one is a worksheet. Please answer all the questions on the sheet as homework.
